Ahootelly-dootullo-meetelie, bu-buttabow

In response to a recent request by a renowned blogger (or utterly unknown, depending on your relative point of view of he/she) I am updating this blog. Here you go.

Today in biology class we looked at pond water under a microscope. It was so neat! I found organisms belonging to the kindoms animalia and protista, and maybe even plantae! I think when I graduate college, I want to be a scientist. I could tell all the labbies under me what to do, and I could just sit and look through the microscope all day! "Hey guys, get me that fungal slide! And some coffee! And when you get a chance, come see how cool I look by my microscope!" Man, I'm awesome. Just sciencing away, like an old science dog.

The men of the HALO: Chandler Williams, Myself, and Kobe Lindsay (minus Captain Dave)

Boats, Fish, and MEN

So I flew to Dillingham, Alaska on June 13, having no idea what I would be into for the next month. It was a way sweet experience, though I will probably die a few years premature because of the amount of sleep I lost during the season. This is our seaworthy vessel, the HALO, number 34365. Do not be decieved by this photo, she is a ship crafted by the gods of the seas. Her committment, along with the wisdom and wits of Captain Dave and his crew, helped to harvest over 90,000 pounds of king and red salmon over the 2005 Bristol Bay fishing season. The next several posted photos were taken on the HALO. Tell me what you think.

My friend Matt Pawluck shavin my dome

So my hair used to be real long, about three or four inches past my shoulders. I got pretty flippin tired of it so I decided to make some dread locks before I cut it. It was kinda fun for a while, and I could even wash them every few days. But as fate would have it, I landed a job salmon fishing in Alaska in June, and dreads aren't the smartest thing to have when most of the day you get fish blood and slime on you and you have the chance to shower almost once a week. This is the night before I left. It was crazy cutting it all off after groing it out for almost three years.

Arrrgh! Friendly Pirates!
Me, Krissa, Andrea, Becca, and Kevin. We went to Becca's house and donned our proper pirate attire and played a few rounds of speed golf. Speed golf is awesome, but anything's fun when you're dressed like a pirate.

Bloga Nueva

Hi everyone, my name is Casey and this is my blog. Thanks for nothing. I mean thanks for coming! A few of my greatest friends have been on my butt (not literally, thanks) about creating a blog of my own, so alas, here it is. Hope you think it's _________. Please feel free to fill in the blank by posting a comment. You're very sweet.
